TWO CARDS FOR YOU

This first card combines SCS Sketch Challenge SC180 and SCS Color Challenge CC170. I really like this color combination of Real Red, Regal Rose, and So Saffron. For some reason, the combination reminds me of a candy store in downtown Disney! (don't ask me why!???)

I took these photos at night so it's hard to tell, but there is a Yellow Fire Circle Rhinestone Brad in the center of the flower and paper piercing on the corners of the diamond-shaped Real Red panel. The small flower image from Office Accoutrement is stamped off with So Saffron Classic Ink on the center Whisper White panel.

RECIPE
Stamps: Office Accoutrement, Hugs & Wishes
Paper: So Saffron Prints DP, Whisper White, Regal Rose, and Real Red CS
Ink: So Saffron, Real Red, and Regal Rose Classic Ink
Embellishments: Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Yellow Fire Circle Rhinestone Brad
Tools: Paper Piercing Tool & Mat Pack
Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals, Pop-Up Glue Dot

This next card is a total case of THIS CARD by justcrazy on SCS. I thought justcrazy's use of this Fall Flowers DP with this stamp set, Spring Solitude was brilliant, and I was inspired to copy it! The only changes I made include adding a sentiment in the lower right hand corner, and adding paper piercing on the Old Olive diamond shaped panel.
RECIPE
Stamps: Spring Solitude
Paper: Fall Flowers DP, Whisper White, Old Olive, and Chocolate Chip CS
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Old Olive Markers
Embellishments: Real Red Brads, Real Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
Tools: Paper Piercing Tool & Mat Pack
Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals

SCS FEATURED STAMPER CHALLENGE FS33 STAROFMAY

Today's Featured Stamper (FS33) on SCS is Kristina Werner, aka starofmay on SCS. Kristina's gallery and blog, KWERNERDESIGNBLOG are AMAZING! I just love Kristina's clean, crisp stamping style! Wish I had all day to case her work! I especially like Kristina's photography skills! Her blog is so professional looking, and her photography showcases her artwork beautifully!

I cased two of Kristina's cards. See her original of this card HERE.

To achieve the three "windows" in the Certainly Celery CS (3 1/2" x 4 3/4"), I punched three Post-It Notes with the 1 3/8" Square Punch, making sure to include some of the sticky portion of the Post-In Notes. I then placed the three Post-It Note square evenly on the Certaily Celery CS, and punched again with the 1 3/8" Square Punch. The Certainly Celery frame piece is mounted on dimensionals for depth. The flowers from the Priceless stamp set are stamped on the Whisper White background piece, stamped again on another piece of Whisper White, cut out, and raised on dimensionals.

RECIPE
Stamps: Priceless (pg. 117)
Paper: Flowers For You DP, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and Whisper White CS
Ink: Lovely Lilac, Regal Rose and Tempting Turquoise Classic, and Versamark for background
Embellishments: Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Brads
Tools: 1 3/8" Square Punch
Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals/Foam Tape, Post-It Notes

They took advantage of the Choose Your Family Promotion (click here for more information, or e-mail me). This special promotion ends September 30 ... don't miss out! Some of these ladies purchased the Starter Kit to take advantage of the great price on Stampin' Up! products, others want to purchase their SU products at the discounted demonstrator price, and others are looking to start a Stampin' Up! independent business. Welcome Leah, Gaylene, Toni, Jennie, and Tammy!!!!RECIPE
