OWL SWEET SUNDAY

Still working on getting my mojo back with this card using Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #105. I just love Stampin' Up!'s Owl Punch! ... so many possibilities! I've paired him with the the Leaves Sizzlits Die and retired Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit.

I'm hoping that the flu bug I've had the past couple of days is behind me now. Looking forward to a day of stamping (and laundry) with the rain outside my window! :)

NOTHIN' BUT SUNNY DAYS IN PHOENIX

I have wanted to make one of these Origami Shadow Box cards for a long time! (Have I mentioned how much fun it is to be on summer break and have the time to tackle such stamping projects?! *wink*) I used this Origami Shadow Box Tutorial by LeAnne Greff and combined it with items from Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit. I have used that kit over and over again, and still have a lot of paper and self-adhesive die cuts left. You sure get your money's worth with Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kits!

SUNNY DAY

To say that today is a sunny day here in Phoenix, Arizona is an understatement! It is supposed to be 114 degrees again today ... downright GROSS!

What isn't gross is the new SUNNY DAY SIMPLY SCRAPPIN' KIT! I love digging in to a new Simply Scrappin' Kit! ... the self-adhesive die cuts and coordinating designer paper and textured cardstock make cardmaking extra easy!

This little card is my first attempt at playing around with the SUNNY DAY SIMPLY SCRAPPIN' KIT, and I've used this week's SCS Sketch Challenge #237 as a guide. The "just for you" sentiment is from the new stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes.
