FLOWER POT CARD FOR ADA

You must think I've fallen off the edge of the earth, but I'm just trying to get through a VERY busy and exciting month! Allie graduates from high school Tuesday night, Drew's 8th grade promotion is Wednesday night, we've been to many Senior ceremonies and banquets, am wrapping up the end of the year at my job/school, have tested and interviewed for a new position, am planning a graduation party, preparing for out-of-town company, and more! I DO plan to get back to designing in June (and can't WAIT! ... I really really miss it!)

I do have a little project to share with you that I created last Saturday night to give to my mother-in-law Ada for Mother's Day. Ada will be 91 years old in a couple of weeks, and is in ill health with Parkinson's Disease. Our family would greatly appreciate your prayers for her during this difficult time.

This card was inspired by Lorri Heiling's Flower Pot Cards HERE and HERE. You can find a Flower Pot Tutorial by Stephanie Luman HERE.

Nancy,
We sure do miss your beautiful cards! Next to December, I think May is one of the busiest months for most people because of all the stuff going on at the end of the school year. Hang in there...don't worry...this too shall pass. Just enjoy every moment you can with your beautiful children.

Nancy,

I can relate! My two kids are 4 years apart and we had the May with HS graduation and 8th grade 'promotion' then last year was my daughter's HS graduation and her brother's college graduation! Enjoy all the May celebrations!

This is one of the prettiest flower pot cards I've seen. I love your colors.

Enjoy the end-of-the-year activities, before you know it you won't have anything to do.

This flower pot card is a winner. One of my clubs made it in their workshop yesterday. Their favorite flower was the SU Simple Flower embosslit in Eggplant envy. The leaves were in handsome hunter textured with the Sizzix distressed texture plate and punched out with the 5-petal flower punch; So Saffron punched with a 1/8" hole punch (brads work well too). Sweet Violets!
