MY MOM'S HEALTH

Although this post isn't stamping related, many of you have been asking about my mom, Carol Ann. So many of you have been so kind to reach out to me and pray for my mom during her brain surgery ... thank you! We found out on Thursday that her brain cancer is a high grade granular cell astrocytoma. They will be treating it very aggressively with radiation and chemotherapy, every day for six weeks ... beginning this week. Not the news we were hoping for, but we are focusing on the positive and have much hope. Please continue to pray for my mom during this unbelievable time.

oh my goodness...42 days to endure. thanks for sharing this burden so that we can uphold you and your family during this time.

this is not a surprise to the Father, so do not believe you are alone. He went through hell and back for every one of us, so He knows what you will be walking through. and i do believe He will bring you THROUGH. read isaiah 41:10 & 13, 43: 1-5 and 46:3 & 4, 9-11.

I will pray for you. We have been through this. My aunt died in the end, not because of the cancer but because they gave her to much radiation. They nuked her brain finally admitting to it in the end.
Best of luck! I will keep your Mom and your family in my prayers.

Nancy, so sorry to hear your mom's diagnosis and need for aggressive treatment. Lots of us are praying for you, your family and especially your Mom with hopes the tumor shrinks. It's difficult enough to deal with these health issues but when you're not right there it's even worse. You did what every daughter should do though and spent time with her when she really needed you, even though it's difficult to be away from your own family. Take care of yourself and stay strong and healthy!

Nancy, my prayer is that your mom, you and your family find some comfort and strength in the outpouring of care from all your friends, family and acquaintances. And most importantly, that the new treatments bring about the desired results, giving your mother improved health.

Take care, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart & prayers go out to all of you. A year ago my husband was having chemo after having part of his lung removed. It was a catastrofic time, but the outcome was good. Just know there is hope!
