I made this for my friend Leah Sinatra for her birthday back in May. I photographed it before I gave it to her, went to post it on my blog and couldn't find the photos! I had to ask for it back long enough to photograph it again, and Leah was kind enough to bring it to me. Thank goodness she's a stamper, blogger, and my downline and "gets" why that's so important! Thanks, Leah! When I give it back to her, is it considered "re-gifting"? LOL!You all know how much I love the Cottage Wall Designer Paper, and I just love the style of this little bag. It fits four 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" cards & envelopes quite nicely. You can find the tutorial for the Haute Tote here.
This card is a version of my original design found here ...
This card is CASEd from FubsyRuth on SCS ...

I have thought about designing a card for this Colour Q Challenge #30 all week ... what stamp set would I use? what designer papers would work?, etc. Last night I finally had a chance to work with it. Needless to say, this "challenge" was just THAT! ... as this is my second card. I'm not even going to show my first attempt! Such a beautiful color combination ... don't know why I have so many problems with it! I guess that just happens sometimes.Colour Q Challenge #30 uses the colors of Bravo Burgundy, Cameo Coral, Always Artichoke, and Sage Shadow. (Just an FYI ... Sage Shadow and Cameo Coral are retiring with the new upcoming catalog.) See more Color Renovation details HERE. Did you notice I used my handy dandy Bird Punch AGAIN?! Gosh, I love that thing! I never thought I'd use it as much as I have!I also used a
fabulous sketch from Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #111.RECIPE

I can't get enough of this Two-Step Bird Punch! It has quickly become one of my favorite punches ... and to think I almost didn't order it! I've paired this bird image with The Write Stuff designer paper pack featuring the colors or Ruby Red, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, and Old Olive. The flower is a die cut from The Write Stuff designer paper pack, adorning an Old Olive button with a sliver of Crushed Curry card stock as "thread". The sentiment is from the stamp set, Well Scripted.
Today's card is for Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #66 ... can you believe this fun sketch?! Won't you play along?! For more inspiration, visit the blogs of the other Sweet Sunday Stampers ...
