LUCKY ME!

My friend, Connie Collins, Constantly Stamping (2011 Stampin' Up! Artisan Award Recipient) met up with my friend Lorri Heiling at Stampin' Up! Convention this year, and sent these wonderful gifts (tissue holder and watermelon card) with her to give to ME! Connie has always been one of my favorite stamping artists, and am thrilled for her to receive the highest honor of Artisan Award this year!
I had a birthday over the summer, and these are some of the wonderful hand made cards and gifts I received from special friends.

from Jennie Portonova ...from Glenda Jones ...
from Wendy Janson ...
from Lorri Heiling ...
from Maggie Chambers ...
Look at this fabulous barbecue-themed gift from Lorri Heiling! She's always surprising me with over-the-top gifts, and can't believe all the time she puts in to them! For details, go to Lorri's blog, Confessions of a Stamping Addict. To tell you what kind of friend she is, she traveled from Arizona to Iowa in April to attend my Mom's funeral, and I had no idea she was coming. I couldn't have even imagined that! It meant so much to have her there on one of the worst days of my life. She's just that kind of person .... ALWAYS doing for others. I am truly blessed by her friendship.

I want to say thank you so much for showing all the wonderful i-picks. You clearly give credit to those who have created the project and give us a site to check them out. Please don't change a thing.

Read your post and the rude comment from one of your "readers". I don't understand why some people can't be nice. I look forward to your iPicks and it's the first blog I go to and look for when I turn on my computer. I love seeing the projects all at one time without having to read through (unless I choose to) the more personal blog postings. I REALLY love the links because if I like a project and the artist's work, I can go to their blog and spend hours looking at the wonderful inspirational work that everyone is doing (and SHARING)! I can then add them to my favorites if I choose. Keep up the wonderful blog, don't change a thing. I think your unhappy reader needs to get a new hobby or, better yet, a shrink to find out the real source of her unhappiness. I don't think it's you!

I love your newsletters. I love looking at all your ideas that you share with all of us. I also enjoy looking at others ideas. It helps to see other sites that I would not get to see. Like our mother has always said..If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all... Keep up what you are doing and thank you sharing. You are a lovely lady.

Nancy,
I for one LOVE to see these posts.
Please don't be discouraged.
I look at all the links, so the other creators are getting me to stop by there blogs that I would never have seen other wise.
Thanks for all you do, and the encouragement you give me to continue to create, although I sometimes need the creativity of others, to get me started
Blessings
