THANK YOU, FRIENDS

Thank you most sincerely for all your beautiful words of comfort and support after losing my Mom. Some of you sent gorgeous cards that truly served as a special reminder of your friendship. It's times like this when you realize how genuinely nice and caring people truly are. I deeply appreciate your kind expressions of sympathy in my time of sorrow. Losing my Mom has been quite traumatic for me but am taking it one day at a time trying to get used to my new normal. I am wrapping up the end of the year at work with inventory in my library. After that, I plan to get back in to my old stamping ways (after June 2)!

I could easily start posting iPICKS again, but am having major issues with Clipmarks. I recently upgraded Firefox only to find out that Clipmarks isn't compatible with it yet. I have loaded Clipmarks in to Internet Explorer, but can't get it to work. After clipping, the html code that I copy and paste in to my blog does not appear. I've contacted Clipmarks customer support but haven't heard back from them yet. If anyone knows a solution for me, I'd love to hear it. I'd even consider going back to the old version of Firefox but don't know how.

I can't even fathom you loss, Nancy... Have lost my dad but not my mom and I know it would wipe me out as well. Hugest of hugs to you. One day at a time and we'll be here when you are ready :)

Nancy, when my mom passed away it took me 5 years to start feeling comfortable in my "new normal". The only advice I can give you is be patient with yourself. Everyone handles grief in their own way. No one can tell you how to do it. My heart is with you. How blessed we are to have had such wonderful mom's. If we didn't have that blessing, the pain we feel wouldn't be there. Sending love and prayers your way.

You might try using Chrome. It's Google's free web browser. It's pretty awesome.

I, too, upgraded Firefox not knowing that Clipmarks was not available on the upgrade. I quickly reinstalled the older version of Firefox as Clipmarks is more valueable to me then the upgrade for Firefox ... might want to give it some thought. I never did hear back from Customer Service at Clipmarks after contacting them.

Nancy, Hope this helps ... Here is the link I went to so that I could reinstall the older version of Firefox. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

I'm running the older version on my lapton (with Windows 7) and desktop (with Vista) and I continue to get a pop up to upgrade Firefox so I just continue to decline this so that I run the older version.

Nancy...I hope your norm comes soon but it does take time. You seemed to have been very close with Mom and for that it will take longer. I lost my MOM in 1995 while we weren't very close I did love her and miss her besides the fact that I have a handicap sister that I promised my MOM I would take of and not put her in a HOME! Wow after she was gone and having to take care of my sister I realized how hard it was for my MOM! You don't appreciate what you have until it's gone! So girlie take your time we will be here when you are ready!

Inky Hugs,
Terry~~

I enjoy your iPicks posts.. I use Safari on my Mac and I found that I had to use "Amplify It" first and then Clipmarks to get to the code. It's for one of the online store's blog, I work for. Hope you get it working again! Maybe Amplify It would work for you too?

Nancy, I follow your blog daily and was so sad to read about your mom's passing. I too, lost my mother to cancer whe she was only 47. All you can do is take it one day at a time. It is something you never get over, but time does help it to get a little easier. I have been praying for you and your family. Michelle
