ANOTHER ROCK 'N ROLL VINTAGE VOGUE

I made my Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #74 card earlier this week, as I had a thyroidectomy on Friday, and arrived home from the hospital this afternoon. I'm feeling real good other than being weak and tired, and a sore throat & neck. A couple more days to recoup, and I'll be a new woman!

Won't you play along with us this week? See what the other Sweet Sunday Stampers have created for Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #74 ...

Joanne Basile:...just a little something
Karen Motz: Paper Playhouse
Laura Fredrickson: Scrapnextras
Sarah-Jane Kale': Janeybell
Vicki Burdick: It's a Stamp Thing
Lynn Put: The Queen's Scene
Jen Tapler: Jen Tapler
Designs

I used the rock 'n roll technique with the Vintage Vogue flowers again (see my other card here), and used the horizontal foliage image to frame the main image panel. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to ensure their accurate placement.

The colors are from Colour Q Color Challenge #37 of Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal, Always Artichoke, and Very Vanilla. I don't know what I was thinking when I stamped the main image panel on to Whisper White! Very Vanilla would have added the warmth the whole design needs, and would have been in compliance with the Colour Q Challenge colors.

RECIPE
Stamps: Vintage Vogue, Whimsical Words
Paper: Ginger Blossom DP, Cameo Coral, Ruby Red, Apricot Appeal, Always Artichoke, and Whisper White CS
Ink:
Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal, Always Artichoke

Embellishments: Always Artichoke 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Ruby Red Brads
Tools: Little Leaves Sizzlits Die, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder, Stamp-a-ma-jig
Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals
All products are Stampin' Up!.

Thanks for stopping by today! Back to bed for me!
