STILL AWAY

I'm still in Omaha with my mom (Carol Ann), and my return home is unknown at this time. They are running every test under the sun to find another primary site in hopes of not doing the risky brain biopsy. She was moved out of ICU on Friday. Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement! Keep 'em coming ... we could use a miracle!

I'll start up with blogging, iPICKS, and Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge when I get back home in a normal routine.

So sorry ... but there will be no iPICKS or posts this week. My 64 year old mother was diagnosed this morning with a brain tumor. She is in ICU at an Omaha hospital, and I'll be flying out of Phoenix this evening to be with her. Please pray!

HAPPY 15th BIRTHDAY, DREW!

Today is my son's 15th birthday! I purchased this Extreme Guitar stamp with Drew in mind ... music is a huge part of his life, and he plays the bass guitar (we'll just pretend that this acoustic guitar is a bass!). The new Night & Day Specialty Designer Paper from the '09 Holiday Mini Catalog suits Drew too ... BLACK just like the majority of his teenage wardrobe!

In celebration of her daughter Hannah's 5th birthday, Stacey Schafer is dedicating this delicious Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 5 to sweet Hannah! This yummy color combination of Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise, Lavender Lace, and Whisper White is a perfect choice for a little girl's birthday celebration card! My card is pretty simple and straightforward ... it's all about these fabulous colors which just pop on the Whisper White background.
