CHEEP TALK URBAN GARDEN

It wasn't my original intent to flip this sketch, but I was determined to use the stamp set, Cheep Talk which has been neglected since I've owned it. It worked so much better with the sketch flipped. The sketch is Jen del Muro's Sketch For You To Try 7/04/09.

I paired the images from Cheep Talk with Urban Garden Designer Paper. It's difficult to tell in the photograph but there are Not Quite Navy cardstock 1" half circles backing the Baja Breeze Corduroy Buttons. Slivers of Not Quite Navy cardstock "thread" the Baja Breeze Corduroy Buttons.

Everything on this card except the stamp set, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, and Whisper White cardstock retired on June 30.
RECIPE
Stamps: Cheep Talk
Paper: Urban Garden DP (retired), Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Kiwi Kiss, and Whisper White CS
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Basic Gray, Baja Breeze
Embellishments: Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Baja Breeze Corduroy Buttons
Tools: 1" Circle Punch
Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals

This set has been on my wish list since it came out but there is always something else I want more! Love your card and it's perfect for the sketch since you flipped it. Also, gotta say it's ingenious to think of "threading" your button with a sliver of cardstock! You Go Girl! :)

Hi Nancy,

My Cheep Talk is also sitting around neglected. Now you've given me some wonderful inspiration to get it out and inking :-).

Thank you!
Sam.
