BUTTON HEART VALENTINE

I'm not one to stray too far away from Stampin' Up! products in my papercrafting. Sure, I have a Cuttlebug, Stickles, and general craft store embellishments here and there ... but, for the most part I stick with Stampin' Up! products. I love their stamp designs, their wood mounted stamps, quality of products, and the 48-color + 6 In-Color structure of their papers, inks and embellishments.

I have a scrapbook store within a couple of miles from my house that I hardly ever go to. When I do, it's usually for an emergency adhesive or Stickles. Yesterday, when I was in the scrapbook store with Allie I couldn't resist this little jar of buttons (by Boxer, Valentine Button Jar Mix). I knew they'd be perfect for trying Kristina Werner's Button Heart Valentine's Day Card (complete with video tutorial!). It was very easy and fun to do! RECIPE
Paper: Bella Rose DP, Basic Black and Pink Pirouette CS
Embellishments: Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Buttons from BOXER Valentine Button Jar Mix (non-SU)
Supplies: Mini Glue Dots

What a coincidence. Right before I clicked on your site on Google Reader, I was on this site:

She has a great button heart card too. I've got to try this out. I loved Kristina's. Your card is gorgeous! I love that you used all red buttons.

Sorry to read about Millie. :-(

Nancy great job with this button card I saw Kristina's and you did an awesome job with the case.

OBTW what is the name of the scrapbook store and where is it located? On my side of town I do not have a one. I would appreciate it if you would email me with the info. Have a great weekend and TFS.

Love your button heart card......how sweet!!! I agree with you on SU products, but I also have a few non SU products I love to use....cuttlebug......nesties, and stickles too!! TFS

Nancy, I knew I liked you! I am so with you on the SU products. They're fun to use, but it's also fun to find other things to use with them. Oh, and I am such a button fanatic. You captured both my love for buttons and SU in one project. Yep, gotta try this one.

And, Happy New Year! You have been such a great inspiration to me - I look forward to all the fun we're going to have in '09.

Nancy, I love that you are an SU girl! You do it so well, they should pay you for it! Your "non" SU card is amazing! I loved Kristina's but I love your's better!

Happy New Year girl! Here's to the fabulous members of the Mutual Admiration Society!
