weSTAMP CHRISTMAS PARTY

Tuesday night was our weSTAMP Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Group Christmas Party. Here are some of the highlights and be sure to check back tomorrow to see the FABULOUS door prize that I won, created by Rachele Sanclemente. Trust me, you don't want to miss it, and you'll want to make at least one of them!

Not only are these ladies talented stampers, they are awesome cooks and bakers! Since I wasn't very yet Leah Sinatra kept filling my plate and I just kept shoveling it in! I wish I would have taken a photo of the whole spread but I do have this photo of Terri Guymon's festive and delicious cake ...

Here's a photo of our wonderful group! I think we all feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to get together each month to stamp together and enjoy each other's fellowship.Check out this adorable basket that Lorri Heiling made for each and every one of us! She made the basket using the Scallop Envelope Die and Big Shot. She has the recipe posted on her blog HERE.
Inside each basket was this adorable chocolate filled gingerbread man cookie cutter. Lorri melted candy chocolate and poured it into the cookie cutters (make sure there is wax paper underneath). She then added sprinkles on the hands and feet before they cooled. Once cooled, peel away from the wax paper. Such a fun, creative idea! Instead of swapping this month, we had five members volunteer to bring one shoebox project each. A shoebox swap/project is like a make and take where there are enough prepared supplies for each person in attendance. The idea is that all those supplies can fit into a "shoebox" container. We all went home with five wonderful projects and enjoyed the time stamping and creating together!

The first project is a holiday magnetic coaster frame by Lorri Heiling ... This beautiful card was created by Leah Sinatra using the "spritzing" technique where you lightly spritz the already inked stamp with water before stamping to give it a watercolor look. Ginny Schembri provided a project of altering a container of hot cocoa mix or a treat box of homemade toffee. This photo shows the altered hot cocoa mix container. This next project is by Pam Wood using the reverse masking technique. Tara Hilde's card uses the new Valentine's promotion, Love You Much. This bundle will be available to customers beginning Dec. 23. The promotion includes the stamp set Love You Much, Candy Lane designer paper, and Heart To Heart punch.
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to check in tomorrow to see the door prize I won that totally blew me away! You're gonna love it!
