As I mentioned yesterday, I won the door prize Tuesday night at our weSTAMP Demonstrator Group Christmas Party! This is the first time I had ever won, and boy was it a doozie! This brilliant creation is by Rachele Sanclemente. It is a Mini Muffin Pan Advent Calendar!
Rachele used a Xyron 900 with the laminate/magnet cartridge, then cut the circles out with a Cuttlebug & Nestabilities. She had to run it through a few times & still had to use scissors to cut through the magnet. It "almost" cut though it all. Rachele thinks that the Big Shot would have done it without a problem. Ski Slope DP and various SU punches & papers were used to decorate, and zip dry was used to adhere everything together. Treats can be placed inside each muffin compartment for each day ... the circles covering each compartment are magnetic. Rachele mentioned some other options for a Mini Muffin Pan Advent Calender ... drill holes for ribbon to hang, and the magnets can be rearranged so that the calender hangs horizontally too!Is this not the coolest thing you've EVER seen?! I can't believe what a creative idea this is! Rachele did a top notch job designing it and I am incredibly lucky to have won it! Oh, the pressure is on me to come up with a fabulous door prize for January's meeting!
