ITALIAN CROCK POT CHICKEN

The flu bug is gone, and I'm feeling like my 'ol self again! Spent the day grocery shopping, cleaning house, putting Halloween decorations away, and getting Thanksgiving decorations out. I SHOULD have been stamping getting class projects ready (hitting it hard tomorrow!). Gee, it's usually the other way around ... I'm usually saying, "I should be cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. instead of stamping!".

Another big surprise today ... I actually made dinner in advance in the crockpot instead of the 5:30 p.m. panic of "what the heck am I gonna make for dinner?"! Everyone is home tonight, and we can all actually sit down AT THE SAME time to eat a meal!

Here's what I've been smelling in my crockpot all day. My family loves it, and it's super easy! (that's all the cooking I do ... super easy stuff!)

ITALIAN CROCK POT CHICKEN
1 lb. boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts, cubed
1/2 stick Butter
1-0.7 oz. envelope dry Italian Dressing Mix
1-10.75 oz. can Cream of Chicken Soup
1-8 oz. block Cream Cheese, softened

Melt butter and pour over chicken in crock pot. Sprinkle dry dressing mix over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Blend soup and cream cheese; pour over chicken and stir to combine with butter and dressing mixture. Cook on low for 30-45 minutes. Serve over egg noodles.

This sounds yummy and simple to do. Chuck does the cooking but every once in awhile I surprise him. I could handle this! Sounds like you've been busy. Glad eveyone is feeling better. :)

This sounds SO yummy! I loooooove my crockpot! I put a pork roast in last night and covered it with hot water and it cooked all night...what a yummy smell to wake up to! And it just fell apart. In a couple of hours I'm going to mix in some sauteed onions and bbq sauce for some pulled pork sandwiches tonight. YUM!

my sister swears by this recipe as well, so I'm going to have to break down and try it! not a huge fan of crock pot dishes with chicken--it seems to have a strange texture after all that time.

congrats on winning the PaperSmiles challenge!

I made this last night and although I won't be able to actually do the noodles until tomorrow, what I've tasted so far is scrumptious. Thanks for sharing.
