Actually I did darling and got an email that they their was a new owner of blogcounter.com I believe and are "fixing" the problem..so hopefully it will be fixed soon:)
I am sooo glad to hear that others are having the same problem. I had over 100K hits and today I only have 12K. I thought it was strange. Hopefully they will fix it soon.
Okay, so I'm not crazy! Mine went from 300 (yes 300 please visit) to 12,000! I thought that was great but I knew it couldn't be right! Hope it's fixed soon!
That happened to me before and I just went in and reset the # after it never self corrected. I now keep a record every now and then of my count in case that happens again!
I have this exact issue - I was right at 94,575 and now I am at a little over 12,000, very frustrating!!! I wonder if it will correct itself? I am noticing that most blogs are having this issue...*STAMPIN HUGS* Alex

I'm another new blogger and mine went from the high 600's to over 11,800! I guess the counter was practicing a 'fair distribution' policy of taking away from 'rich and giving to the poor' policy...LOL....just a sarcastic thought, not meant to be taken seriously. Barbg
I have had this problem, too. Very frustrating since it happened just before I hit a milestone (twice). Unfortunately, you get what you pay for (free) . . . . I had to back up my count to feel "legitimate" and wait a bit longer with a new counter. So far it's working.
Girl, the same thing happened t me. I think lots of us who used Easy Hit Counters dropped down to around 11K hits or so. Julia Stanton lost almost 1 million hits! GASP!
I switched today to StatCounter! Bu-Bye Easy Hit!!
Oh my! I thought I was going crazy!!! It happened to me too. I hadn't posted in a couple of weeks, so I thought it was going backwards!! I hope to get a real count again!
I did the same this as some of the posters here; keep a count else where so you can reset, and I switched to StatCounter and have never had a problem. Do want me to visit you 20,000 times today? LOL!
