MORE CELEBRATING

Not only is each and every comment left on my blog, and every single e-mail I receive from my blog readers all the encouragement I need to create and share, occasionally my cards get recognized with some special honors. INSPIRED BUTTERFLY for CREATE WITH... and COLOR THROWDOWN

This is one of those cards that I'm not going to disclose how long it took me to design it! I fiddled and fiddled with it throughout the day until finally coming up with an acceptable overall design that I'm pretty happy with. I combined two challenges: Create with Connie & Mary Sketch Challenge #106 and Color Throwdown #1oo of Real Red, Regal Rose, Baja Breeze, and Certainly Celery. I have always loved Real Red and Regal Rose together ... add some blue and green and you've got one terrific color combo!

FOR LEAH

I made this for my friend Leah Sinatra for her birthday back in May. I photographed it before I gave it to her, went to post it on my blog and couldn't find the photos! I had to ask for it back long enough to photograph it again, and Leah was kind enough to bring it to me. Thank goodness she's a stamper, blogger, and my downline and "gets" why that's so important! Thanks, Leah! When I give it back to her, is it considered "re-gifting"? LOL!

You all know how much I love the Cottage Wall Designer Paper, and I just love the style of this little bag. It fits four 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" cards & envelopes quite nicely. You can find the tutorial for the Haute Tote here.

NOTHIN' BUT SUNNY DAYS IN PHOENIX

I have wanted to make one of these Origami Shadow Box cards for a long time! (Have I mentioned how much fun it is to be on summer break and have the time to tackle such stamping projects?! *wink*) I used this Origami Shadow Box Tutorial by LeAnne Greff and combined it with items from Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit. I have used that kit over and over again, and still have a lot of paper and self-adhesive die cuts left. You sure get your money's worth with Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kits!

A CURTAIN CALL BIRTHDAY ON A PEDESTAL

Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge, Act 37 of Tempting Turquoise, Barely Banana, Chocolate Chip, Melon Mambo, and Whisper White is in celebration of Stacey's birthday this week ... Happy Birthday, Stacey!!! This color combo is now one of my all-time favorites! I think the combo just screams "cake" and "cupcake"! Stacey's birthday-inspired challenge came just in time too! ... my birthday card stock is getting real low!
