STRAWBERRY with CHOCOLATE SPRINKLES

Tonight is our weSTAMP meeting and swap. Our swap theme was to use any stamp set from the new and upcoming 2010 Summer Mini Catalog (available May 1, 2010), and this is my swap card. If this card looks familiar, it's because I cased myself from this Sweet Scoops card which cases this card by Amy at Gone Inkognito.

I'll be posting the cards I received from the swap as soon as possible (which may take a few days).

THE WRITE STUFF for SWEET SUNDAY

I can't get enough of this Two-Step Bird Punch! It has quickly become one of my favorite punches ... and to think I almost didn't order it! I've paired this bird image with The Write Stuff designer paper pack featuring the colors or Ruby Red, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, and Old Olive. The flower is a die cut from The Write Stuff designer paper pack, adorning an Old Olive button with a sliver of Crushed Curry card stock as "thread". The sentiment is from the stamp set, Well Scripted.

Today's card is for Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #66 ... can you believe this fun sketch?! Won't you play along?! For more inspiration, visit the blogs of the other Sweet Sunday Stampers ...

YOU SCREAM, I SCREAM ... WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!

This card is a CASE of THIS CARD by Amy at Gone Inkognito. I used the new stamp set, Sweet Scoops, available in the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog May 1. The four ice cream cones in the background were stamped in Versamark ink on to Close to Cocoa cardstock. The ice cream cone on the tag was stamped in Close to Cocoa ink and the scoop stamped in Pretty In Pink onto Whisper White CS. The scoop was stamped again in Pretty In Pink onto another piece of Whisper White CS and kissed with the Versamark inked texture image, then cut out and raised on Stampin' Dimensionals.

RECIPE
Stamps: Sweet Scoops
Paper: Welcome Neighbor DP (Sale-a-Bration '10), Close to Cocoa, Pretty In Pink, and Whisper White CS
Ink: Versamark, Close to Cocoa, Pretty In Pink, Jet Black Staz-On
Embellishments: Pretty In Pink 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Pretty In Pink Brad, Pretty In Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon
Tools: Scallop Trim Border, Tag Corner Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch
Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals
