Yes, I'm jumping the gun here with a Halloween card, but couldn't resist using the new Cast-a-Spell Designer Paper! Frankenstein (Batty For You stamp set) is my favorite Halloween image, and this sentiment from the stamp set Smarty Pants always makes me smile! I used Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #76 Sketch.After I had my card all put together, I realized that maybe I should have more thoughtfully cut the background designer paper with the pumpkins. It bothers me that the orange pumpkins in the print aren't seen on the right and bottom. Does it bother you like it does me?

Great card... love how the pumpkins on the paper go down one side and across the other.. like it's meant to be.. I have been making Halloween cards too.. it must be getting to be that time of year. thanks for sharing, Pam

I actually thought you did that on purpose framing only the left and top of the card. I thought you were very smart and "crafty".

ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous card, Nancy!! I love your use of the sentiment...it always cracks me up! I like the dp as is; the danger of getting too fussy (which is my temptation as well) is to possibly waste paper when most would not even notice.
